Looking for a used rotary engine can be a great way to get the unique performance of a Mazda or other Wankel design without the new price tag. These engines are known for their smooth operation and high RPM potential, but they do require careful inspection since past maintenance and seal wear are crucial. A used unit might save you money, but checking for proper compression and any signs of overheating is essential to avoid costly repairs later.
