I've been looking into the p77 asian handicap for a friend who plays golf, and it seems to be a specific term for a system that adjusts scoring based on the difficulty of a course in Asia. It's not a universal thing, but it's used in some tournaments to level the playing field, accounting for different pars and course conditions. Kind of like a more localized version of the standard handicap, but tailored for certain regional setups.
